WINNER ANNOUNCED IN THERMA-TRU® 2012 “UNLOCK THE OPPORTUNITES” SWEEPSTAKES


Maumee, OHIO, (August 16, 2012) - Grand prize winner Chuck Post will be packing his bags for a trip to New Orleans next February to attend the biggest pro football game imaginable! The manager of Blue Ridge Lumber in Hackettstown, N.J., recently won the trip in the Therma-Tru® 2012 “Unlock the Opportunities” Sweepstakes.

“I've won a lot of little prizes in the past, but nothing like this,” says Post, a resident of Bethlehem, Pa. “I remember entering the sweepstakes at Therma-Tru's booth at the 2012 International Builders' Show and then a few times from my office, but I really didn't expect to be the grand prize winner.”

More than 12,800 builders, remodelers, dealers and industry personnel entered the national online sweepstakes between February 8 and June 30, 2012. Prizes awarded during the sweepstakes included 144 $25 retailer gift cards, seven large-screen TVs and three Apple® MacBook® Air computers. Post, who plans to take his wife, Tammy, with him to the 2013 big game in New Orleans, was selected as the grand prize winner on at the conclusion of the sweepstakes.

“It's pretty fitting actually that I've won this prize,” says Post. “Our company is a dedicated Therma-Tru customer and we've got Therma-Tru displays in all three of our northwest New Jersey locations. They're our lead brand when it comes to recommending fiberglass and steel doors. I fill out all their online surveys and use their marketing tools. We try to participate with our vendors as partners in all stages of selling products in order to set ourselves apart in the marketplace.”

The second annual interactive online sweepstakes encouraged participants to gain fast knowledge about new products from Therma-Tru as they completed the sweepstakes entry process. Three simple steps were required to enter this year's online sweepstakes including: choosing a house style, Therma-Tru® door style and a glass design to create an ideal home entryway makeover. During the sweepstakes, a total of $26,000 (approximate retail value “ARV”) worth of prizes were awarded.
