OHIO BUILDER DRIVES AWAY FROM INTERNATIONAL BUILDERS'SHOW WITH NEW CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE ROADSTER FROM THERMA-TRU DOORS
MAUMEE, Ohio (February 17, 2005) – Therma-Tru today announced the winner of the "Chrysler Crossfire – Beauty is in the Eye of the Key Holder" sweepstakes it sponsored at the 2005 International Builders' Show (IBS) last month in Orlando, Fla.
Perry Bourn, the president of Prestige Builders in Hudson, Ohio, drove away with more than a hands-on look at the building industry's most advanced building products and services. He was selected as the grand prize winner of a 24-month lease on a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster.
"I stopped by the booth to look at the fabulous new doors from Therma-Tru, and I took home two doors of a whole different kind – those on a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster," said Bourn. "It's a great promotion and a great prize from a great company."
Sweepstakes participants stopped by the Therma-Tru booth to register and receive a key. Select keys opened a patio door, entering them into the grand prize drawing of 100 finalists. Some 10,000 show attendees participated in the sweepstakes.
"Booth attendees got an up-close look at Therma-Tru's variety of new entry and patio door options, and hopeful winners also got to sit in the driver's seat of a brand new Crossfire Roadster in the booth," said Hal Gardner, vice president of marketing, Therma-Tru Doors. "Therma-Tru and the Chrysler brand have a great deal in common: both offer outstanding performance, a variety of styles and are the leaders in their industries."
The contest helped promote a variety of new products and services Therma-Tru is introducing in 2005 to meet the needs of the nation's builders, remodelers and contractors. Top product developments include a Classic-Craft® American Style craftsman-style door, Classic-Craft Mahogany Collection eight-panel style door, several new Classic-Craft Rustic Collection doors and a new line of Fiber-Classic® and Smooth-Star® fiberglass sliding patio door systems, previously only available in hinged styles.
The sweepstakes was open to registered IBS attendees who were at least 18 years old, legal residents of the United States and were not categorized as exhibitors. There was a limit of one key per person.
